I would defintely like to see 8

With the following details:
- 6 highest rank conf champs (no auto qualifying conf)
- removal of division requirement to host conf champ game (restores rivalries and helps scheduling as discussed above while helping avoid low ranked team upset in conf champ)
- 2 at large (limit 1 at large per conference)
- computer formulas used for ranking 1-8 and for selection of teams (no back room committees guaranteeing the blue bloods are in)

There are no byes, and i believe all but the sec would support this.
